Could have been a great movie...,

I rented this movie out because I like the actor Vin Diesel. He had his ups and downs when it came to movies, so I was hoping this was an up.After viewing it, I was left with a bland taste in my mouth. I was disapointed by the last 20 minutes of the movie and I'm still trying to understand what the heck happened! Its started really good, kept you intrigued and all, but they forgot to add some details in this movie along the way. A lot of things happened, but you have no clue why it does. Un fortunately I hate movies that don't explain why certain things happen, much less when you get to the good part, where you're sitting there, waiting to finally get the answer to why Aurora is like that and BAM. They fast forward the whole thing in 5 minutes and its THE END. You are litterally left on the couch, wondering what the f*** just happened to this movie!? I'm not sorry to have watched this movie, but I definately am disapointed that it was crushed the way it did at the end.

Much-maligned film really not all that bad,

I think Babylon A.D. is a film that ultimately suffered from bloated expectations, in parts also probably due to the awesome trailers it had. At the end of the day, no one will remember this as a great film but it's a decent viewing experience for action fans. Vin Diesel is Vin Diesel and Michelle Yeoh delivers the best performance I've seen of her so far.The action scenes are okay, if not great but what impressed me was the dizzying amounts of different set locations. Desert? check. Mountainous areas? check? Icy blizzards? check New York City? check. This is one globe-trotting film. Check it out, you might enjoy it.

Vin, I said it before and I'll say it again. You are the Baddy with the big heart and that's why I enjoy the most in your movies. Let no one ever say that Vin has not cut his teath as an action figure. With this in mind I await your next movies with great anticipation.Antonio Di Donato
