About the Author

Brother-and-sister team MATTHEW HOLM and JENNIFER L. HOLM have been extremely good this year. If you're reading, Santa, Jennifer would love to find a surfboard under her tree and Matthew is still waiting for the Star Wars AT-AT walker he asked for when he was 10. When they're not busy decking halls, Jennifer is the New York Times bestselling author of several highly acclaimed novels, including three Newbery Honor-winners, Our Only May Amelia, Penny from Heaven, and Turtle in Paradise. Matthew Holm is a graphic designer and freelance writer. They are also the creators of the Squish series (which we think Rudolph would really enjoy).

A Great Series! Dec 8 2011
By NomDePlume - Published on
Format: Paperback
My third grade daughter discovered "Babymouse" at the school library and became an avid reader. She'd rather read these books than watch TV. For her, these were the gateway books. Yes, they are graphic novels (comic books) but they are captivating and she reads them over and over, laughing out loud and reading them to us. This book looks to be the perfect little surprise for under the tree.

santa mouse? Dec 1 2012

The Babymouse books were ordered for my 10 year old daughter. Other than some manga-style comic series (Kitchen Princess for one) she hasn't been much interested in comics. She really enjoys the saucy/sassy girl power type humor of Babymouse. I would rate them a three but she wanted a five rating because she considers them extra fun because she can color them in like a coloring book too. :)
Babymouse Wants a Whiz Bang for Christmas! Oct. 8 2011
By Rachel Kramer Bussel - Published on
Format: Paperback
This holiday season, our beloved mouse is eager to get the hot new does-it-all phone, a Wizbang, which already the Jennifer L. Holm and Matthew Holm give a nod to the adults and mock our desire for the latest, greatest tech products. Babymouse tries to con Santa with various disguises and gets taken back to the Ghosts of Mean Girls Past as she, hopefully, learns a lesson. Will there be a "typical" ending for her? Read A Very Babymouse Christmas, and then do someone a favor and give them a copy. Babymouse is charming even when she's being bratty and self-centered, in a cute mouse kind of way. One of the best in the series.

This was ordered for my granddaughter who loves Babymouse books and it was delivered on 29 December. She called so excited about receiving it and Q! I was not familiar with the Babymouse books, but he had told me she wanted such for Christmas and I was unable to locate them for sale locally, so ordered through Amazon. She was thrilled which naturally made me happy! Very quick delivery!
