No complaints. It just works. Attaches easily and firmly to counter every time. Easy to adjust. I tried it with potatoes but that's not worth it, however with apples it's perfect.

These tools are amazing. I used to borrow one but its better to have in the cupboard. I peel the apples and my wife does the crusts, pretty sweet deal. They only work on crunchy apples, not soft ones. It will work on almost any size apples and I did try a potato with it, does that too. Back To Basics Apple And Potato Peeler

I like this little machine. Combined with an old salad master, I can have a whole pile of potatoes peeled and sliced in no time, ready to make chips in the dehydrator. Works good with apples, just be sure to line them up on the prongs properly.

This tool cuts "apple processing" time in half. Or more. Early apples are in, and the kids and I went apple picking. We brought home two large buckets. I canned applesauce and apple butter, made an apple pie and two batches of dehydrated apple slices, in one and a half days. There's no way I could have done that without this tool. My kids loved helping me with the prep work (they are five and three years old). Easy and fun to use. All stainless steel parts mean it's built to last. It could perhaps work for potatoes, but they would have to be similar in shape to apples, with a large enough diameter to hit the peeling blade.

My Mom has arthritus and couldn't peel any more. This does the job for her. She loves it and we may get some apple pie out of it!!!

My kids love apples, and they especially like it when daddy peals, cores, and slices them thin. Now they can do it themselves.
Train them properly to avoid injury with the sharp edges, and rinse the parts after each use. Tip is to use a moist paper towel to cover the base of the red frame and suction cup, that way you don't have to rinse the whole unit.

Easy to use and clean. Takes at 25% less time than peeling apples by hand (including cleaning time). The unit that we received had a defective handle and it was promptly replaced by the seller. We even purchased one as a gift to our parent this year. We recommend it.
