I picked up this book as I am at a crossroads in my career, and other publications haven't really seemed to fit my circumstances. I have used this book as a constant reference for the moment. I would especially recommend this if you are in a career field like me where you have the option of working for yourself OR someone else, as every section addresses the unique needs of the self-employed as well as those of a rank and file worker or manager. A bit dry at times, but will most likely earn a permanant spot on my bookshelf for its usefulness.
