Product Description

From Amazon.com

For very serious fans only, Back Street Stories is an unauthorized documentary about the Backstreet Boys. There are no performances included here. The content is a series of interviews with four people, including an Orlando DJ, who have stories about the Backstreet Boys. These are played over repeating video clips. One man was involved with the group's early days, but his connection is never explained. Also, his story of the formation of the band differs from that of the off-screen narrator.

The Backstreet Boys themselves are featured in several interview sequences in which they are sometimes quoted out of context. The video footage of some very young boys on their first trip to New York City is mildly amusing. However, the 50-minute running time relies too heavily on repeating video segments. The DVD includes a feature that will cycle still photos and short video segments, all previously shown, for each Backstreet Boy. --Larry Clark

2.0 out of 5 stars Ok, not the best, but worth watching., Jun 16 2000

This review is from: Backstreet Stories (DVD)
well, its not that good. its worth watching because of the behind the scenes of when they started out, nick looks so little. All of them do. but its pretty bad footage and its the same thing over and over. I would not personally recomend it but it does have some perks. It would be worth like renting and watching if it were available but not to own and watch over and over. Get the Live In Concert Video if you want a good one to watch, or even The Video, not this.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not That Great, Jun 7 2000

This review is from: Backstreet Stories (DVD)
This video I only bought because I'm a huge fan of the Backstreet Boys. This vid is totally non-Backstreet with a whole lot of interviews just their back-up band talking about them. The only good thing on this is about 15 minutes of the guys when they were (really) young, like Nick was about 13! CUTE!!! And another (good) bit was when Nick kissed the camera!

so i'm glad i own this thing because it DOES have about 15 minutes of clips of the guys when they were jsut starting out, yknow, NICK, was like 13, all the guys are still in school practically. but the entire video is LOU PERLMAN talking about how he MADE them. That's about it. just DO NOT BUY IT! you can HAVE MINE! well not really, but just dont.
