Suspenseful! Terrific acting!, Jan 9 2007

This review is from: Bad City (DVD)
BAD CITY is an indie gem. Austin Pendleton gives one of the best performances I've seen in recent years, Lance Reddick and Meghan McDonough are also outstanding. Not your average boring, shoot-em-up cop flick. This film has teeth, terrific dialogue and plenty of suspense. We screened BAD CITY at our festival, The Midwest Independent Film Festival, and the film drew raves. Enjoy!

Better than one could expect, Feb 19 2008

Excellent film on many levels. A good story can go a long way with great actors. Lance Reddick is tough, mean, and clever as Manning. Austin Pendleton is a vicious, disgusting, and wickedly brilliant gangster known as Julian. For fans of film noir, where no one is really good, Bad City (also known as Dirty Work on TV) goes into the the multi-dimensional facets of the dark aspects of the corrupt characters portrayed brilliantly by Lance Reddick and Austin Pendleton. I was glad to find it was on DVD after searching for Dirty Work (2006) for a long time. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I was an extra, Jun 11 2011

I was fortunate to meet the cast in this movie along with most of the crew and other extras. I was an extra inside the police station and I thought this movie was very well put together by Director Bruce Terris.
