Well as one of the most recent reviewers said, it is plastic. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. Have been doing PT for shin splints and using a fitter board - purchased this one because of the picture and the price. Did not see any reference at all to it being plastic in the product description (and older reviews listed it as made out of wood!). The product picture does indeed show a WOODEN board. Very odd. Haven't used it yet- will give it a try. Might be ok.Will definitely complain to the seller. How can we get Amazon to make them change their photo to accurately portray the product? It is very misleading and reflects badly on Amazon.
Is January 25th. Have finally returned board to seller (no refund yet!). Had to argue with them about receiving a prepaid return label. They still dispute the name and product description. Even after I emailed them photo of product box and compared it to FitterFirst's website details for product. I see product photo is still wrong. Won't purchase from this seller again. Should be removed from PRIME list.
Edit: I have been using this board for almost 3 mths now, and it is still awesome. I progressed from standing on two feet on the board for 3 seconds to 10 seconds to 20+ seconds, then raised the bar by standing on one foot. Having mastered that, I am now trying to balance with my eyes closed!
