Between the Mouse and Grip, Scorch360 contains all the normal xBox controller buttons making it ideal for that first person PC shooter game style you're used to. For PC use it does not get any better - you can use the Mouse just as any other normal mouse and the wireless WASD grip. Silky smooth no lag game play. Note: Requires two AA Batteries, one for the mouse and one for the grip. Note: Requires a wired xBox controller to initiate the xBox console. Once initiated Scorch does not use the controller. I waited with great anticipation for this product as it seemed to be the answer to all those who wanted the best of the analog stick and mouse world. I cannot say I am disappointed with the product but it is not what is advertised. The build quality is there both the mouse and thumb stick are well made and all required components came in the box as advertised. Delivery was on time and easily tracked.Some initial problems getting the device set up were resolved in one email to Bannco support and they were friendly and helpful. Once setup the small issues began to creep into the picture. I was lucky enough to had done some research to know that a "WIRED" controller is required to make the Scorch work, not a huge issue but adds to the cost of ownership. This is a mess when it comes time to play with cables and USB adapters all over the place. Then the RF interference caused the Scorch to keep cutting out and more settings needed to be changed to try and fix that. Then you need to move the Dongle around so it is very close to the Scorch to get the best reception. To customize button layouts you have to plug the Scorch back into the PC making it difficult to get a setting you like quickly (not a big deal just an FYI). Game play was almost impossible out of the box and an immediate firmware upgrade was required (done at your PC). This helped but then further refinements are necessary within the in game controller settings and the Scorch. There are so many combinations this can take a while. I am still changing settings every time I play and still do not like the jumpy micro aiming and inconsistent movements the Scorch provides. I am confident that Bannco are constantly working on firmware and hope that many of these early issues are resolved in short order. I have noticed a significant improvement with each change I make based on Bannco support and firmware updates and continue to use the Scorch to play as it is no worse than playing with the regular analog controller in terms of my in game performance.

Although this product is not perfect, once you work with it a while and install some firmware upgrades it's not too bad. It is not as good as pc game mouse control, but it is the next best thing. There are some snags such as RF interference, but the firmware allows you to change the frequency to one that fits your environment. If you are one who hates using an Xbox 360 controller in FPS games, then this is the contoller for you.

The Bannco Scorch was worth trying after playing games primarily on the PC for 20+ years.- Setup only worked with an official Xbox wired controller. The third party wired controller I had did not work. - I experienced a bit of interference but was easily solved by adding a USB extension cable and then moving the receiver/adapter away from the Xbox. You can also adjust the frequency of the controller but I did not need to after adding the extension cable. - There is no port for a wired headset. Plugging a headset into the wired controller did not work. A wireless headset is required to be able to talk online. After the above issues were solved, the controller worked very well for me in the Call of Duty Games, Borderlands, and Orange Box. The Bannco Scorch was an improvement for me over the regular controller for FPS games.

Mouse is great but you need to be really great with computers to use it to the max. Im not really into computers i gave it to my bro for an hour and he had it set up. No real Manuel so you have to figure a lot of stuff at first go to a lot websites . The only downside is if go to other shooters you need to spend a good 10 mints to reset the sensitivity of the mouse and game plus the buttons. It is great better then a controller only if you use it with one shooter finish then start an other online career.
