This book is fun for adults and kids, though most of the jokes will go over the kids' heads. Are the stories educational? No! Do they promote mischief? Maybe. But I prefer to call it independent thinking.

I'm in my 30's, and my sides hurt every time I read this book to my daughter. I literally have to take a break after the page about the duck bringing ultimatums as a neutral party because I can't stop laughing. It gets me every single time.

5.0 out of 5 stars The kids absolutely love this book!, Jun 10 2011

My kids love this book so much. All 3 stories in this collection are so cute and funny - that even adults can enjoy them. My son (4 years old) asks us to read it to him all the time. He's heard it so many times that he has it memorized and he pretends to read it all by himself! He also insists on reading aloud all the animal sounds in the stories.

I like the hardcover for this edition, as kids can be kind of rough on their books. Ours has survived literally hundreds of readings and the binding and pages are still holding up.

The stickers included with the book are a nice bonus.
