Sep 1 2010 Barron's SAT Subject Test World History
The authors open this test preparation manual with a general overview of world history, treating it as an academic discipline, and offering general study advice. The 25 study units that follow review the entire scope of human history, starting with the emergence of early human communities, the development of agricultural societies, and the emergence of civilizations. The chronicle of the world's civilizations is reviewed to the present era. The manual concludes with two full-length model tests with all questions answered and explained.

4.0 out of 5 stars Barrons World History Dec 31 2012
By Englishman - Published on Amazon.com
    Format:Paperback
My son bought this for the June 2012 SAT test, he was a Sophomore, he scored an 800. The book is a very good test prep source, it however fully expects you to have taken at least a 2 semester High School class in World History at either Honors or AP. If you have done AP World History, you may not even need this book if you take the June SAT Subject test having already taken the May AP test. It's a very good test prep and revision book, Recommended.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Edited Properly Jan 19 2013

I just started reading, and went through the very first questions after the first chapter. in the matching, the very first question's answer is D and the answers at the end say it is C. This is obviously a typo, but it makes the rest of the answers, ones you might not be as certain of lose reliability. Im already extreamly disapointed do to such oversight. I regret having bought this book and wish I had gone with another.

It is necessary, as expected by the author, that students have an especific material for completly content absorbance. This is the best guide I have seen. It came lately at my house, but I was extremely well served by Amazon, and received a fair justification. Thank you.
