I bought this book because of the gorgeous necklace on the cover. When I looked through the book I couldn't believe it... never before have I purchased a beading book where I wanted to make every design in it! This book is definitely a treasure, and one for my beading library. The only caution I would make is, most of the patterns call for size 15 Japanese seed beads. After making one necklace with these, I will attempt to transpose the next patterns for size 11 Toho beads instead of the 15s. My eyes can't take those tiny little fifteens. Overall the patterns are just gorgeous, and extremely feminine. Thank you Kelly Weise.

This is probably the first crafting book where I've been excited to try every project in it. Each one is very elegant, in a Victorian sort of way. At first I thought they would be difficult, but from what I've tried the instructions are very clear and concise, with clear photos every step of the way. Even if I don't have all of the recommended materials, the patterns are also easy to adapt into different projects. Highly recommended.

I've made several of the projects in this book with outstanding results. The projects in this book are inspiring and simple enough to do. Change the bead color and/or finish to change the fashion style; formal, causal, business formal, and more. This is not an in-depth book on tools and techniques however, the photos and words are simple enough for a beginner to follow. Essentially it's a project book with many appealing designs. I followed the direction on my iPad and my phone on the go. I love having the kindle edition so if I'm inspired on the go, it's easy to make sure I get the right supplies and beads.

I love this book. The patterns call out to me. As I turn the pages, I am saying that "I have to try that!" With each page I turn, I get more and more excited! I have to say I prefer directions that are drawn as opposed to pictures. I'll live with it! It truly was a toss up for rating this book, but rarely have I found a book where I liked all the patterns, therefore, a 5 star.
