Better than I expected, April 25 2010
By Jacqueline - Published on Amazon.com
Took a chance on this one since I couldn't find any reviews. It turned out to be pretty good. Ben and Wade Beaumont rescue Victoria Fowler whose brothers dragged her out west then got killed by bandits. The Beaumonts take her back to their ranch and on the way find out she is attracted to both of them and convince her to stay and be a wife to them both since they can't decide who should get her.
Now it wasn't great literature but since this is menage erotica it had enough plot to hang the story on. The writing was just okay. It was fairly obvious that this is a new writer. I would be willing to read more by her to watch her improve if any were available but I couldn't find any. The cowboys talked in vernacular if that sort of thing bothers you.
The sex scenes were pretty good and pretty plentiful. My biggest complaint was that everyone on the ranch was okay with the sharing. The foreman's wife and other wives were all "more power to ya girl". Now I know this is erotica and fiction but I would have much prefered to see a serious attempt made to show how a menage such as this would have been accepted in real life. Back in the 1800s this would not have been accepted, really it isn't accepted very well today. There would have been severe condemnation and the three of them would have had to deal with the emotions that would have brought.
Still not a bad menage book if you just ignore that.

Beaumont's Brand, July 11 2010
By M. Nix - Published on Amazon.com
Victoria Fowler has been hiding for two days. With her brothers dead, she is on her own and frightened. When she sees cowboys moving cattle, she knows that her only opportunity to steal food will be later that night. Only she doesn't count on Wade and Ben Beaumont, the men in charge. Both men pull her from the chow wagon thinking she is a man, but when they realize she is a woman she sees their eyes change and their desire for her is more than evident. The men decide to take her home to their ranch with them and while Tory knows that she needs their help now she won't always need them. Or will she?
Wade and Ben Beaumont both desire Tory. Each is willing to give her up for the other until the night they keep watch for her taking a bath. Then all bets are off and they come to a conclusion. Tory will marry Ben, however, she will be Wade's wife as well. When Victoria innocently runs from them, Wade and Ben lose their trust in this tiny woman, except they can't and won't let her go. Now all they have to do is convince her to stay. And how will they accomplish this? By branding her the Beaumont way!
And convince her they did. My goodness these men wanted Tory to stay with them as their wife. Wade is the smooth talker of the two, but Ben is the one that more often than not wears his heart on his sleeves. Their treatment of Tory might not be the most gentle, but it was definitely heart stopping. Beaumonts' Brand is definitely one hot ménage - and it had a good story to boot!
