This cookbook contains a wonderful collection of delicious spelt bread recipes.I found the previous reviewer's negativity unwarranted.
I am baking enthusiast and I can say that the recipes in this book are very well thought out.
This cookbook provides excellent instructions, the recipes are original and I have yet to have any "surprises" or recipe failures.
What you will get with this book.
- Easy to follow, delicious and healthy, no fail recipes
- Delicious breads that will please even the pickiest of eaters
- Jam packed with bread baking variety
- Bread recipes that are easy to make and fun to eat!
Being someone that can't eat wheat, but that can eat spelt.
I am happy to have found this book, as it helps me be able to continue to bake and enjoy breads.

I've tried two recipes so far in this book, and both are fabulous! The buttermilk biscuits were a definite hit. The "Exceptional Handmade Spelt Whole Grain Bread" was wonderful although I did use half whole grain spelt and half white spelt flour. I scaled the recipe down (divided by 8) and put in my bread machine. I did have to add a little more flour, but the results didn't disappoint. I highly recommend this book.

Some typos in the book and recipes aren't always 100% clear. For the price it was still worth it. I plan on trying some of the recipes soon.
