5.0 out of 5 stars Beekeeping June 22 2010
Format:Hardcover
I own a lot of books on bees and beekeeping but this one is a WOW! Worth every penny and I paid full price at an Indigo store. They only had one copy and I hung onto it so tight until I got to the cash register, like it was the only copy left in the world :)

Buy it. You should not be disappointed. Full of facts & how to. The pictures are GREAT for those who have not been up close to a hive yet. Lots of little historical notes on myths, gods & goddesses, ancient beliefs, etc. but with a full knowledge of today's beekeeping that you need to know. Great layout & colour.

This would be a great gift for a beekeeper, insect lover or especially a student. You'll knock their socks off!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great "Coffee Table" Book Dec 17 2012
By Elspeth Ewing - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
This is a great Coffee Table book. I wouldn't use it as a day to day reference - it's too nice, but the graphics are excellent and the content is superb. Keep it out on display for others to become enthralled with beekeeping!
