You are not going to find many bands like Dead Milkmen,

This CD is hilarious. The classic song is obviously 'Punk Rock Girl' but there are so many other songs on this release that are just as good like 'Smoking Bananna Peels', 'Bleach Boys', 'The Guitar Song'. The bands sngwriting often gets me wondering 'how do they think up this stuff?' As far as the musicianship, I can not think of any other band that has a similar sound to the Dead Milkmen, which is always good. The best way to describe their sound would be punk tuned down a notch. To me, this is their best release. If you are in a down mood, put this one on-it will get you to smile.

Polka rocks!,
By Bubbis Thedog "Bubbis" (Atlantis) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Beelzebubba (Audio CD)
Who else but the Dead Milkmen would have meshed punk with polka? To me, this is an interesting innovation. Not all of the songs reek of polka; but the one's that do, you will be wondering why no one had done it before. It's a perfect marriage. I myself: I just like the sound. It's anarchic, yet subtle at times. And the hilljack overtones are just hilarious. Regards.
