Perhaps most endearing about Before Sunset is the evolution of this relationship that started 10 years earlier, dropped (through no contact), and rekindles. Part of the charm is the completely conversational style of the entire film. You feel like you are there listening in - amongst old friends.
Part of the wonderful nature of the movie is that it is a lasting love affair that travels through time, very much like real life. Life does not end with the closing credits. This sequel feels like real life. The actors are older, life has evolved, they have matured, and it is just so heart warming to find the touch of young love still alive.
Charming, endearing, and a delightful walk in the park - with friends - sequel.
My wife and I were enamoured with it.
