Love it, but it is not perfect,

I love it for the layout. I use it in my office and couple of plugs are with converters - you know those bulky plug boxes that come with your router, external hard drive, camera charger, etc... Before getting this one, I have purchased higher-end one from Philips that was specifically designed for Office use, and although it was great on paper, it was bad in practice - layout was such that some outlets where blocked by other plugs next to them and "eco" outlets controlled by one main master device were not for me. Anyway, I have decided to pick this one from Amazon, and was very happy when it arrived as it is just perfect for me.Pros: - 12 outlets are great, as being a Software developer I have a ton of equipment to connect: 3 monitors, 3 computers, laptop, printer, 2 routers, external HDD and occasionally a camera charger. Yes, I use them all... - The biggest plus is layout of the outlets! YES! - 8 foot cord is not necessary, but nice to have. - telephone protection good, but I do not use it. - coaxial is great as I also have one of computers with tv tuner card in it hooked up to a cable - I do not think it says that anywhere in the description, but each outlet has a sliding protector from kids sticking anything in there... They are relatively easy to slide just using your fingertips, so even babies can figure it out after a minute or two, but really your 15 month old should NOT be playing alone with cables, electronics and electrical outlets, so it is nice for Belkin to add that just in case... Cons: - quality is on a cheaper side, but I'd give it 3/5, maybe 4/5 if you consider the price - awkward location of an on/off switch - I was plugging everything under the desk in relative dark and it took me a minute to find it - no big deal really I do no plan to use it, but I have not noticed it while unpacking. Even with couple cons, for a price, and with great layout, I'd buy it again and will give it 5 star rating.

This surge protector is great. You have more then enough room especially if you have a lot of bulky plugs. What makes it even better is the built in phone and tv cable plugs!

Lots of reviews already on this product. I did my research and this one came out as one of the best choices. So far, I'm very happy with it and it does give me great piece of mind. I haven't been zapped by a surge using it yet, but with the warranty they provide if the product fails makes it so that I don't really have to worry if it does happen.
