I've seen many reviews advising not to buy "expensive" HDMI cables because there is no difference in quality. It's probably true that you won't see a difference in picture quality, but you will see a difference in build quality.These Belkin cables have solid connectors and a strong woven jacket. If it gets pinched or bent it will hold up.
I've had many Belkin cables over the years, and I've never had a problem with any of them.
These are somewhat less expensive than Monster-type brands, but the quality (image and construction) are definitely on par. You won't go wrong.

I am very happy with this cable. It replaced a Monster Component cable, I do not remember the exact model, but I had purchsed a few for all my TV's about 6 months to a year ago at Circuity City. I remember them being in the area of $150. For 1/3 of the price the build quality matches that of Monster and the picture is better, though only slightly. Have purchased new Belkin cables for all my TV's now. If you are thinking about it, do it.

Quite frankly, I don't know if this cable transmits information in a "cleaner" fashion than cheaper alternatives. However, it is very well constructed and works great with my high end component home theater installation. This Belkin cable seems to be a good compromise between the inexpensive and outrageously priced alternatives.
