Benny Hill - Complete & Unadulterated: The Complete Collection

I'm not sure what some people are expecting from Benny Hill. He was great at double entendre and suggestion but he never seemed particularly "BLUE" to me.

He always seemed to be about saying things without actually saying them. So if some people were looking for some lost bits of naughty footage that they think they missed out on, I have a hunch its not so much on the editing room floor, as just missing from their own imagination. Hill was a genius and certainly a product of his time. you had to know the innocence of britain in the sixties to realize what they thought then was naughty. it is a relative term.

Todays audience is jaded anyway and frankly not all that bright. They have been spoon-fed smut for so long that if its not paraded in front of them and pixilated or bleeped out then they dont really know where they are supposed to be shocked. because they have seen it all for so long its not a big deal any more.

This is for those of us who want to remember what it was like to have comedians with a clever wit.

the same people who dont get monty python should avoid this because its just plain over their heads. Benny Hill makes you work for the laugh. and its worth it when it comes. but if you want obvious this isnt for you.

My husband Loved it and what a great value. you get all the seasons without the censor. Cheaper then buying each season separate.

I bought this DVD package because I really love Benny Hill's shows. I had watched them before but never bought a whole series package. This product contains all the shows of Benny Hill. Every one who love Benny Hill should have this in their homes. And the deliverey was super fast.
