say your prayers,
By Pam Krawec (winnipeg, mb, canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Berenstain Say Their Prayers (Paperback)
my children love the Berenstain Bears stories. so when we saw this book it was only natural that we purchase it to help teach our kids how to pray on their own. we pray for them, giving them the words, but this book helps them find their own words, and their own way to talk to God.

Long & Drawn Out,
By Lisa Miller "Loves Books!" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Berenstain Say Their Prayers (Paperback)
Right in the middle of reading this book to my daughter (5) she asked what the book was about. The moral of the story was too brief and hard to understand. My daughter thought the book was about baseball. I like their older books which are more fun, less mundane and more to the point.

A Helpful Book,
By Papa Bear - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Berenstain Say Their Prayers (Paperback)
This story about prayer is a positive and interesting look at the importance and meaning of prayer in everyday life. It deals with the common practice of praying as part of youth sports activities and gives a thoughtful take on this issue. It will be appreciated by parents and children alike.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Berenstain Say Their Prayers (Paperback)
Compared to other Berenstain bears books, the new ones by Mike Berenstain have a lot of words and can get a little boring and mundane. They also don't start with the clever little rhyme like his parents did. They still teach the lesson but it's a little bit over kill and if you are reading these at bedtime (like myself) suddenly your reading time is quite a bit longer, so instead of 2 books you may only have time for 1.
