Don't visit Athens without it

This is one of the handiest guides I have ever had, to the New Athens Acropolis Museum. I am so delighted I read it before I went as it prepared me for what I was to see, and really gave me a great background of information about how the Museum was renovated once the hidden city was discovered below. I appreciated Tschumi's genius and totally in awe of this stunning building which houses unique artifacts. The architectural drawings and photos were most useful and the book is a handy size to pack and take along as you tour. A terrific investment! It still brings back many memories of the visit - the highlight of Athens, as far as I was concerned.
