About the Author
BILL BRENT is the founder of Black Books, which co-published this anthology and produces other fine books on underground culture. He also edits BLACK SHEETS, a humorous magazine about sex and popular culture that he started in 1993. Many of his short stories and essays on sex appear there, as well as in the anthologies BEST AMERICAN EROTICA 1997, EROS EX MACHINA, and THE FACTSHEET FIVE ZINE READER. He created the bisexual character, "Dick Death, Punk Detective," who appars in all three of the NOIROTICA anthologies edited by Thomas Roche. His newest stories appear in the anthologies ROUGH STUFF and GUILTY PLEASURES. He has edited five editions of THE BLACK BOOK, North America's foremost alternative sexuality resource guide. He has written MAKE A ZINE!, a complete guide to self-publishing zines and other small publications, as well as a sexual self-help book, THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO ANAL SEX FOR MEN, for Cleis Press (2001). He is working hard on his first novel.
CAROL QUEEN is a cultural sexologist and author based in San Francisco, who got a doctorate in sexology so she could impart more realistic detail in her smut. She has been affiliated with the national bisexual movement for over a decade, keynoting conferences in Los Angeles, Minneapolis, and Texas, and speaking at many more. I read this book over a weekend. It was a weekend I'll never forget. The stories informed me, aroused me, and opened me to a new world of possibilities for excitement and growth. I read about things that I never knew would excite me. This volume is a brilliant collection of stories and characters that shall inhabit my sexual thoughts for a good while! Even the stories that are "out on the fringe of the sexual frontier" are exciting. A must read for anyone having to deal with their own feelings or other's feelings.

I loved it. This book is full of good stories, all excellently written and beautifully described. I had a great time reading it, and it gave me some great ideas..(*wink wink*) I'd highly recommend this book to anyone with a libido and an imagination, be you straight, gay, or bi.

Fun Romp Through Bisexual Erotica

I was introduced to this book two months ago by a lady friend I was visiting in Portland, Oregon. In fact, she asked me to read her one of the book's stories as we made love. Even though I may be totally straight, I loved the fun and intriguing stories in this book. It almost makes me wish I was bisexual, with all the rich, exotic, and at times playful scenarios contained within the book's collection of stories.
Stories like "First Hello," "Pissing In the Men's Room," "Sauce For The Gender," and "Anal." The stories present a very affirming view of bisexuality. The characters in these stories for the most part are out to have fun and have some extra variety in their lives.
The more erotica I read, the more I realize is isn't just about the ol "bump and grind," but also about the character's lives, feelings, predicaments and how they all fit together to make a story sing. These stories are alive and vibrant and might just put a song in your heart too.
