This is an excellent resource for writing a top notch resume that can get noticed. The sample resumes alone are worth the purchase.

It has been quite awhile since I've had to update my resume. I took a resume writing course that recommended this book. It is refreshing to find a Canadian written book! I found this really helped me plan out my resume. Many different varieties to choose from. If you are currently seeking employment this is a MUST have!!

I have used a lot of information from all of the example resumes in this book. My own resume covers 10 years of office administration, accounting and payroll, legal assistant, and customer service. Very hard to cram everything into one resume. Though I really recommend that if you went to college or university for your chosen field, concentrate on the positions for that field and make another section for other employment. I really like Best Canadian Resumes by Sharon Graham as it covers entry level to senior-level management positions. I've taken information from each of the resume examples to incorporate into my resume. One other piece of advice: This book is good for everyone, not just for people who are trying to get a position to make $100,000 or more. The other good thing about this book is depending on the field you work in, play around with the font for your name only, and apply a border. And remember this book is for Canadians not USA.

Highly Recommend
Best Canadian Resumes is well written and an excellent resource. There are many different sample resumes for various occupations and I highly recommend.
