Lots of Low fat recipes,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Best Ice Cream Maker Cookbook Ever (Hardcover)
For the most part I like the recipes in this book. The only problems - not a single picture. I think all cookbooks should have lots of pictures. Also for many of the low fat recipes, she recommends that you keep them only for 4 hours. I don't know about you, but I can't eat a whole batch of ice cream in a sitting. I kept the ice cream longer and the low fat varieties tend to get hard. The sorbet and granita recipes are great.

Nice book,

Excellent recipes. The measurements and ingredients for each recipe in this book were perfect. Yes, I did try just about each and every one that was published. Out of a 202 page book, so far I tried the recipes upto page 137.

I'm not a great cook, but in an attempt to eat healthier I decided to start making my own ice cream and sorbet. This book is simple and easy to understand. The recipes I've tried are quite good. The book was highly recommended to me and I agree. And if you substitute 1/2 Splenda for sugar, there are some very light creations here. Buy it.
