This is a very powerful comprehensive design program with online user groups you can go to with questions and/or archives to get help. Though the largest size paper you can print to is 17" x 22", you can print at 1/8" scale and then enlarge your drawings at a copy place to make standard size blueprints at 1/4" scale.
There is definitely a learning curve but when you see your design in 3-D it's all worth it. I hesitated to buy HD Pro 7.0 because I had to upgrade from Windows 2000 to Windows XP but I'm sure glad I did! The primary advantage of Pro 7.0 over Home Designer Suite is the ability to customize and edit.
