4.0 out of 5 stars A bewitching romantic brew Jan. 9 1998
By A Customer
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This is a charming collection designed to warm your heart on Halloween. (And Riverxine should lighten up a bit -- no one picks up a collection of "fantasy romances" looking for a textbook on witchcraft! By the way, not everyone =knows= a "real witch" to interview. Real witchcraft bears the same relationship to fantasy romance that real men do to romance heros -- the name's the same, but we all know the difference between fantasy and reality!) Besides, BEWITCHED proves four times over that True Love conquers all differences, and that's the real magic of Halloween, "if you ask me"!

5.0 out of 5 stars Magic Is The Way To A Man's Heart! Jan. 6 2002
By Laura
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This is a collection of four romantic tales with a magical twist. My favourites were Saving Sirena,in which a lonely man finds a cat in the street, only to discover the cat is really a young witch who had a spell cast on her to remain a cat, unless she could find someone to fall in love with her without the aid of her magic;and Everything She Does Is Magick,in which a young girl is destined to have a child with a certain boy she just happens to love, but he does not feel the same,so it is up to her aunts to make sure he does...

5.0 out of 5 stars Real Witches Not Offended Jan. 6 1998
Format:Mass Market Paperback
"Riverxine" should take a moment to remember the difference between fantasy and reality. The witch as figure of fantasy is as well-entrenched in 20th century fiction as Elizabeth Montgomery in BEWITCHED. As a practicing Wiccan, I find any positive depiction of a Wise Woman to be a great step forward for our religion - not something to slam.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor Storytelling and Inaccurate Paintings Oct. 14 1997
By A Customer
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Not only do the tales of this compilation do nothing to titilate the reader's mind, they drive home incorrect and outdated notions about Witchcraft. The authors should have bothered to contact real, in-the-flesh Witches (the religion of Witchcraft is very real) before writing their bastardazations of the Craft.
