Pretty basic,
This review is from: Beyond the Master Cleanse: The Year-Round Plan for Maximizing the Benefits Of the Lemonade Diet (Paperback)
I have read both this book and "The Complete Master Cleanse" by Tom Woloshyn. This book might be good for someone just beginning the wholistic lifestyle, but I found that I already knew a lot of this book's contents. It's pretty basic and I'm only rating it a 3 because he's giving some advice that I disagree with and doesn't seem too open to other opinions than his own (I'll give examples in a minute). .On the up side, he mentions parasites, which most authors fail to do, and he also mentions use of high-quality essential oils, which I agree with. On the down side, he gives a lot of personal anecdotes which is ok, but somehow I get the impression that he has ego issues. The body heals itself, all we can do is help create conditions to allow it to heal. Neither he nor Stanley Burroughs, who I think was a good man, have all the answers. Everything is opinion. Water - he recommends a certain type of water which I disagree with; he's against distilled water and I think distilled is the best. Hulda Clark Zappers - he recommends them and I think they're junk and don't work. Overall, for the savvy health-oriented person, reading his first book "The Complete Master Cleanse" or even better, "Master Cleanser" by Stanley Burroughs or, even better, "Healing for the Age of Enlightenment" by Stanley Burroughs should give you more than enough information in order to complete the Master Cleanse. I'd also strongly advise reading Arnold Ehret "Mucusless Diet" and "Rational Fasting". These authors who write books on fasting do us a grave disservice when they fail to caution us that for a person who is weak/ill/very toxic, fasting can release the poisons into the blood too quickly and cause extreme illness or even death. That's why I like the Ehret books, as he addresses this and explains how to deal with it and still fast to become healthy. I'm rating this book a 3 because there is some good information in it, and anything that helps people lead a healthier lifestyle is good.

This book is very helpful if you are considering the Master Cleanse. I have completed the 10 day cleanse two times. Following the book made it easy without mistakes.

I have read this book before doing the master cleanse to get a full sense of what it is about and what happens afetrwards. This book is better than I imagined, it also goes into other types of cleanses. I highly recommend this book.

This book is full of information that is very useful to have in the back of your mind when looking to change your lifestyle and ways of eating. I've used it numerous times for master cleansing since I purchased it in Feb 2011, and have shared it with family & friends who plan to do the Master Cleanse. They end up liking the book and so they go buy this book or The Complete Master Cleanse by the same author.
