The book has an involved and interesting plot.
Written from the writers perspective, and personal thoughts
about even writing the book were unique, yet enjoyable.
The middle of the book was very engaging, yet about 2/3 of the
way through I got a little confused about who was doing and
saying what...then after a few chapters was able to pick up the
thread again. Is the kind of book that is probably best read in
just a couple of "sittings" so all the players are kept fresh
in one's mind. The factual descriptions of the locations and
favorite places were an interesting touch and did make me feel, at
times, as if I was on the "trip" too.
I have to agree with the writer....I think it would make a great movie.
As a movie, it would be even better than as a book. There was such a
variety of settings and characters that would lend themselves well
to visual/audio communication.
