5.0 out of 5 stars Indio Big Harvest has been re-issued Jan.27/09, Feb 5 2009
By Neil Maynard "blueslink" (Canada) - See all my reviews

Today I recieved a re-pressing of this CD from pacemaker.cd and have compared the quality with an A&M single I have of Hard Sun. Sound Quality is comparable and the cost was $15.00 CAD. EMI Canada also sells it, so, thought I'd let you know.

5.0 out of 5 stars Should be re-issued, Jan 22 2006
Fantastic album! Tasty drumming by Vinnie Colaiuta and heartfelt lyrics and music by Gordon Peterson(?) make this a surprise find and one I can listen to over and over. Should be re-issued to a new, more appreciative audience. With the current trend in drumming toward infusing African and Latin rythmns into often stale North American music, Gordon Peterson was ahead of his time. Peter Gabriel (Up) and Paul Simon, among others, have made some use of these sounds in the last few years but it has not become mainstream. This hard to find CD should have been a hit.

5.0 out of 5 stars a complex and rich experience, time after time, Jan 4 2004
By A Customer
I've had this music for 14 years now, and it has never palled. Passionate and urgent rhythms, lyrics layered with rich images (no standard romance crap here!), and stirring guitar work. It's just such a wonderful album. Why it never made much of a splash can only be down to poor marketing. I wish Gordon Peterson would put something else out to complement this gem! You will not regret buying this album.
