Interesting perspective for Bigfoot hunters, Dec 1 2008
By Dr Mossberg - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Bigfoot Observer's Field Manual: A Practical and Easy-To-Follow, Step-By-Step Guide to Your Very Own Face-To-Face Encounter with a Legend (Paperback)
Robert Morgan, a credible and experienced BF hunter, has drafted a manual for those interested in taking their chances and setting out to encounter one of these mystical creatures - follow his guidelines and you too will see one (although for obvious reasons he falls short of making specific promises or references). The author does not waste any time in clearly distinguishing himself and his methods from the rest of Bigfoot hunters clad in camo, toting loud speakers, fruits, telephoto lenses, and even weapons of all sorts. He patiently explains his peaceful and almost spiritual approach to his followers so they can prepare the right conditions to enable such an encounter. I actually thought his strategy made a lot of sense.
This is not a narrative of witness accounts, and most of the pictures are familiar to those who are worth their salt in hominid research. I only wish he included some more anecdotes and real life experiences tied to his suggestions in order to spice up his manual. However, the book deserves recognition for the way it provides and explains an alternative way of "hunting" these elusive creatures (for seasoned hunters and beginners alike).

Really good guide to your own personal encounter., Oct 27 2008

This short booklet (not really a book in its purest form) really puts field tips and little tricks of the trade in the reader's hands. Morgan gives some great field tips, as well as recommending what kind of gear to use in the field, and also to not pack too heavily or an individual will be tired and huffing and puffing in the field. There also are little practical field tips and anecdotes and stories which tell the reader what to do and what NOT to do in the field, which also applies to sighting a Forest Giant (as Morgan calls them) and what to do if an individual does see one and has an encounter. The book is chock-full of great information, not only on field tips, but also what to look for in sign of a Forest Giant in the area. I do recommend this one, if for nothing else, for the practical field tips Morgan gives us. 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.

Robert W. Morgan is one of the first persons to seriously investigate and research the mystery known as sasquatch, or bigfoot. Robert has spent many years conducting active bigfoot field research, and he has amassed a considerable amount of knowledge and wisdom which he presents concisely in THE BIGFOOT POCKET FIELD MANUAL. I've been involved in active bigfoot research for several years and have used the concepts and principles as presented by Robert in THE BIGFOOT POCKET FIELD MANUAL. Using his methods I have had a number of very close sasquatch encounters as have several members of my research team. If you are serious about researching bigfoot you will want this book for your library.
