Highly recommended study guide. Filled with clear details and pictures to help understand Biology. If your taking an IB Biology class, this guideis a must for all your tests. For me, this guide is nearly a replacement of my teachers confusing notes. Shipping was fast, and book is great, nothing more you can ask for.

My daughter's IB Biology teacher told them that this guide is compiled of actual questions from past tests. Great resource! And this is a newer edition from the past guides.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Study Guide, Feb 12 2011

I did IB HL Biology a few years ago, and this book really helped me to grasp the concept(s) at hand. I am still using the concepts at University (B.Sc) as the IB course and the guide combined have a great deal of scalability. A high school student does not need to know the concepts as thoroughly as HL Bio. teaches them, but by all means, if you plan to do sciences, it will surly help -- and by extension this book does too. The only part that is lacking is the section on evolution, which comprises a just a few pages of this otherwise very though and lengthy study guide. However, that is why one has a textbook, of course.

This study guide is great; you'll love it even if you're not taking IB bio. I know many of my friends bought the book, despite coming from high schools that do/did not offer the IB program after they saw me studying from it for midterms.

I cannot say enough about this book; it's great.
