Don't bother April 3 2014

Perhaps for experienced birders this would be a wonderful book. But I am a lover of birds in and around my front and back yards,as well as my county. I thought I was ordering a book about Texas birds and it probably is about Texas birds. However, the number of birds covered in the book are relatively few. And for finding the bird you might be searching for is just that--a search. They are not listed alphabetically and the book is not inclusive of even all the birds in my county alone, to say nothing of my huge state. Very disappointing and a sad waste of money.

This book was a gift and was received very well. The book looked easy to find the birds you may see in your back yard.
