This book gives a lot of detail and with a lot of pictures. When one picture is worth a 1,000 words this book has a lot of words. It has detailed instruction for projects such as brick laying, concrete forming, stone work and a lot of other unique projects. I liked this book so much I purchased a few of their other subjects. I would recommend this book to the DIY. I am finding the brick arch and brick laying sections especially useful.

I bought 3 books on masonry and this ones seems to go the most in depth on the largest number of topics.

Book arrived in brand-new condition. Very informatives for the basics, but not too deep into detail.
If you know nothing, this will teach you a lot. If you already know about masonry, this will not help you.
The book contains mixing concrete, how to build forms and stairs, tools and names. There are pictures for each explanation.
I lack experience in this field, so the book was pleasing to me.
