One word say's it all, JUNK! I thought I would go with an inexpensive model because I don't use a mixer that often. Big mistake, the lowest setting on this is so fast that the batter flies out of the bowl! Not only that, it blends most of the stuff, but leaves the big chunks of butter swirling around while the rest is getting over blended. In all, I wish I would have sprung for the better model because this one is one bad batter experience away from going to the thrift store.

I had a black and decker years ago and loved it, but have had trouble finding another to replace mine after I dropped it. This one I have only used once, but it has awesome power and I never even took it off the lowest speed to do all my mixing.
    Cheaply made Dec 30 2010

Beaters stopped turning because the aluminum drive wore down the cheap plastic gears (a $1 part), preventing the beaters from turning. Cheap plastic gears turned by a metal drive is poor engineering!!
