Had mine for over a year and speaking from a diy-single lady's POV (taking doors off hinges, mounting shelves, installing casters, etc), it works great. Having the battery monitor helps things a heap as well as two batteries so I always know I've got power somewhere. I also enjoy the two speeds option, even if the pictures are a bit elementary. Sparks a bit when you first turn it on, but I guess that's all part of the home improvement fun!
Now if I could just find the screwdriver bit I lost about 6 months ago...

I just bought this today from Lowes for $60.00 ($20.00 off). My last B&D drill lasted about 10 yrs, so I thought I would give it a shot. I don't think B&D sells this one any more b/c I couldn't find it on there website.

And I didn't think a drill would be likely to break, so I didn't save the receipt. I donated $100 to Lowes.
