A friend recommended this book by Tattrie, a local journalist in Halifax. A great read for anyone interested in Atlantic Canadian history and the suffering as a result of the Halifax Explosion. The novel is graphic at times and tells a couple stories in the short 192 pages, but certainly among the likes of Barometer Rising by Hugh MacLennan.
