One of the most highly rated documentaries in recent years (currently holding an aggregate rating of 98% by film critics), this movie is one to cherish.
In 50 years time, we will look back and weep at the damage and destruction we caused to such a beautiful species. Similar to The Cove, this movie focuses on the untold profiteering of a corporation bent on maximizing income, no matter the cost. We see interviews from ex-Seaworld trainers, who were used and abused by management at Sea World, but who stayed on out of love for the orcas in their care.
We see first hand video of the deadly "accidents" that occurred to 3 trainers, and how Orcas kill humans out of frustration at being kept in captivity. We also see Seaworld immediately blame the trainers, and it is easy enough to see the contradictions when there have been no deaths from Orcas in the wild. Ever.
You'll be shocked, amazed, surprised, and horrified all at once, and make a vow to never give Seaworld an iota of your money after watching this doc. Well worth the price!
