5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant! A hugely talented band - going to the very top Sep 24 2012

Superb vocals with spine tingling five part harmonies and amazing guitar playing.
I particularly love 'Blind sighted faith' and 'Follow the Road' but 'Oh Lord', with the astonishing guitar riff has to be one of the best on the album. 'I Could be a King' is a song to make you smile. They're all top notch.
These guys are destined for the very top - they are all hugely talented.Blind Sighted Faith

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolute Guiltless Ear Candy - Mastery of Craft! Sep 10 2012
By Lee - Published on Amazon.com
I was quite surprised today to happen upon The Dunwells today. On principle, I never buy an album upon first hearing, especially from a group I've never heard of before; but today, I gladly violated my principle and quickly hit the purchase button. Their album, Blind Sighted Faith, is absolute guiltless ear candy. In solidarity with their website, I stand in agreement that they are "striking an exhilarating blend of English rock and American roots music". Like a good pot of Gumbo - where all those ingredients work effortless to flavor the batch, the Dunwells throw so much into their music. Sometimes I feel like I'm listening to the lyrical complexity of the Doors, the harmony of America and other anti-Viet Nam era groups of the early 70's, the driving guitar of old U2... but it all comes up uniquely Dunwells. There is conviction behind each word in every song. There's no fluff... just straight up substance, depth of talent, and mastery of craft that demands your attention.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hard to stop listening July 15 2012

The Beatles. The Rolling Stones. The Who. Crosby Stills Nash & Young. When I first heard the Dunwells, I heard bits and pieces of each of these. When a band takes a bit from each of these kings of Rock, how can they not also become kings?

This album is even better than what I heard at that first live performance. It has not left my car since I first inserted it. The anthems are very singable. The ballads make you feel the loves or the losses of these artists. The harmonies.... The harmonies remind me what what wowed us when we first heard Crosby Stills Nash & Young perform on the stage at Woodstock.

I can not recommend this album highly enough. And if you have a chance to see the Dunwells on their current tour, you will not regret doing so.
