Product Description

"You know exactly what you're going to get from the series title and it doesn't disappoint. It's swashbuckling derring-do. Everyone's got names like 1950s rock n roll heroes." Simon Mayo show, Radio Five Live "It is THE ultimate boys' book... thoroughly exciting!" Simon Mayo show, Radio Five Live "A rollicking good read, it's incredibly addictive." Marcus Sedgwick "I absolutely loved it. A fast-paced, addictive read. I really appreciated the moral depth to it. It might look like a boys' book but I loved it and I had to wrestle this book off my thirteeen-going- on-fourteen-year-old daughter." Cathy Cassidy

Doesn't disapoint if you enjoy the series Feb. 5 2015
By Andrew - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This book is quite thrilling, because the characters have really found their place in the world, but still all is not as it seems. Connor must reflect on his decision to become a pirate, and Lorcan is recovering from his injury physically, but emotionally, he is shutting Grace out. We're also introduced to a few new interesting characters, and their loyalties are questionable as well.
Excellent Bedtime read April 9 2012

I originally bought this series for my husband, but I got addicted to the Vampirates too! I love how the story with the twins is unfolding and how they are each struggling to become independent from eachother. It's a great adventure, not only on the sea, but also of growing up and taking on responsibilities and being accountable for ones actions.
Good book but not the cover we wanted :( July 27 2012

My son really loves these books but Justin Somper has a couple different covers to these books and when we got the book it wasn't the cover that was advertised so we were unhappy about that. My son LOVES the skull covers and that was part of the draw although the book is still the same.

8 year old great-niece is the one reading these books. She now has 1-5 and thoroughly enjoys them. First books she's ever been excited by and can't wait to read. For that alone I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
Great book for young readers! Dec 10 2010

My 12 yr old son absolutely LOVES the Vampirates series and this book was no exception. He read it in about 2 weeks. He is not an avid reader but this series really catches his attention.
