About the Author

Manga creator, writer and illustrator Kazue Kato was born in Tokyo on July 20, 1980. In 2000, at age 19, she won the prestigious Tezuka Award for her work Boku to Usagi (Rabbit and I) published in Akamaru Jump. From 2005 to 2006 her series Robo to Usakichi, a sci-fi adventure featuring a rabbit (again!) was published in the monthly magazine Shonen Sirius (Kodansha). Her latest series, Blue Exorcist, began in Jump Square in April of 2009. Kazue Kato has used a rabbit as a self-portrait in her author’s notes since her debut, and her titles often have some relation to rabbits.

Headed to a climatic end of arch!! April 12 2012
By learneddres - Published on Amazon.com

This volume of Blue Exorcist is where the climax of the Impure King arch begins. An enjoyable issue that inclusion of a question and answer section for the bonus answered by the manga characters is fun. Issue is light on bonus story as expected since really a lot of plot is packed in. A lot of exposition, detail and background is covered.
If you have read ahead or if you have not you know that there is about to be some action. This marks the return of Father Fujimoto all the in flashback form. Still it is nice that he is not lost in the narrative since he really is a sympathetic character all the less so in this issue. What can I say I am a fan boy of this series. No need for apologies with work like this.
In Love! June 29 2014

I absolutely love this anime, and I love the manga. The fact that all of the mangas were for sale pretty cheaply online is amazing! (The stores in my area sell for $10 or more per volume.) The books came in very good condition, without a single bend or fold in the covers, and they arrived only two days after I had ordered them. The art is very well done, and there is so much more content in the books than in the anime.
Absolutely love this!

Fun Series Jan. 29 2014

"Blue Exorcist" has a lot in common with "Naruto" but the individual detail in relationships between the characters is excellent. I love the way the Exwires' reaction to learning Rin's secret is playing out with each member of the group having their own distinct reasons for why they react the way they do. The art is similarly detailed, every character has their own look and their own mind.
