excellent primary resource for 3rd year ob/gyn clerkship Feb. 8 2008
By niquekee - Published on Amazon.com
I haven't been impressed with Blueprints for medicine or psychiatry, but for ob/gyn it's the single best review book. Pair up with Casefiles and a question book or question bank online and you will do very well on the shelf.

Perfect! Dec 19 2007
By Lana Fontaine - Published on Amazon.com
This book is perfect for clinical rotations in OB/GYN. Although most blueprints are very helpful, this is my favorite out of the series because it gives you everything you need to know for your exams and clerkship, as well as helpful review questions in the end (like all blueprints). Very easy to read. I carried it with me throughout my rotation and excelled on the test.

Blueprints Obstetrics and Gynecology Fourth Edition (Blueprints Series) March 18 2007
By Crystal Cardwell - Published on Amazon.com
Everyone recommended this book to me for OB/GYN clerkship but I also bought Current (Lang). I felt that this book did not give me good enough explanations on physiology, etc. When I got pimped by my attending--Current helped me a lot more. It does have some good pictures and covers the basics...it all depends on if you want to be an "average" student vs. an "excellent" student.

Great book for Rotation!!! Feb. 13 2008
By Paul Pearce - Published on Amazon.com
This book had everything I needed to feel like I was learning what was expected of me during the rotation as well as helping me get a great foundation as to base my studies for Step 2. I plan on looking back at this book while I get ready for Step 2 to brush up on the finer points. Overall a great book and worth the money spent!

Rock the Shelf with this book May 19 2007
By fozidog - Published on Amazon.com
Unless you have a huge interest in OB/GYN this is all you need to know to rock the shelf and do well on the wards. The questions in the back are exactly the same format and content as on the shelf.
