Difficult to clean,

This press works fine, but is extremely difficult (actually, impossible) to clean. The glass also feels quite cheap, but all in all, it does what it's meant to do.

This Bodum works well, and is great for making coffee. Just watch out, because you'll only have enough coffee for one mug.3-cup refers to 3 "coffee cups" of 5-6 fl oz, which works out to be about 350ml. I got this as a gift, and I'm pretty sure they meant to get me a bigger one! So if you want to make coffee for two, or you drink more than one mug in a sitting, get the 8-cup (1.0L) version.

Fantastic french press!!,

I bought this French Press a few weeks ago, partly because I can't resist anything small and cute :) Seriously though, I'd been using a larger one from a popular swedish furniture store for about a year. But I only made half a caraffe full, so this one seemed like a good idea. I make one cup of coffee at a time (I'm the only coffee drinker) and this makes a perfect amount for one large mug plus a little milk. It's not 3 servings, but generally one "cup" of coffee is understood to be 4 or 6 ounces, not an actual 8 ounce cup.I can feel the quality difference between this one and my $15 press from the aforementioned furniture store. works beautifully, but it's a little less than enough coffee. it really only makes one serving, and i wish it were a little more generous. otherwise, it's perfect. easy to clean, lightweight, easy to use.
