The three-part stainless steel plunger has a fine mesh filter, which allows for a premium extraction of the coffee's aromatic oils and subtle flavours without the waste of a paper filter. The safety lid prevents hot liquid from splashing out while pressing and seals in the aroma and heat to keep your coffee warm for a longer time.

We have been using this bodum on a daily basis for more than six months, not for coffee, but for loose herbal teas. It is easy to clean and just keeps on working. Compared to other French Press coffee makers we have used in the past this is a much better product and we love the colour.

Been using this for about 3 weeks now. So far it seems like it is decently constructed, no lose handles or flimsy coffee depresser. Overall a decent machine, although a bit pricey, when you add in $12 shipping to the $30+ price tag.
