To me, her past two albums did very well in the market, when she made her comeback with Spining Around and then her famous na, na, na song (if you can still remember).
With Body Language, I was pretty 'slow' to recognise her dance tune in her first single and thought this album might be a flop. How wrong was I, when the second single came out and this Red Blooded Woman cant get out of my mind.
Soon, I fell in love with this bitter sweet 'Chocolate'. This kind of tingy feeling and bringing climax of pleasure when she mentioned - CHOCOLATE - Ooo ... I just love this song.
This album has its own taste, so does every box of chocolate that you open. So if you are playing this album for the first time, then this album is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you gonna find, till you taste the sweet sounding voice of 'Mint-not' - Enjoy!
I'm going back to the previous release... a MUCH better CD
1)Slow-unique, bassy, not the best single to use to sell Body Language, but still good
2)Still Standing-complete 80s track, appreciatable, catchy
3)Secret(Take You Home)-decent up-tempo song but sounds like some early Madonna song
4)Promises-one of my favorites, kind of disco-ish but not that boring disco kind of song
5)Sweet Music-another 80s track but more appreciatable,classic
Kylie song
6)Red Blooded Woman-pure R&B that sounds like your average R&B song, but not bad
7)Chocolate-one of my favorites, really resembles a J Lo song but is very good
8)Obsession-mix of dance and R&B but enjoyable
9)I Feel for You-differnt but nice up-tempo with the touch of the piano
10)Someday-some pop song that is pure filler for the cd, it sucks but I've heard worse
11)Loving Days-sounds like a song for making love, but in a good way because I like it
12)After Dark-okay, but sounds like some pop Japanese song that you her when you beat a video game
13)(US bonus)Cruise Control-enjoyable R&B track with a hint of some Indian stuff going(you need to listen to get what I mean)
14)(US bonus)You Make Me Feel-decentdance/R&B,sounds like some old Janet Jackson hit
This really deserves 3 and 1/2 stars. I like this cd because it mixes dance and R&B among other things, which is not very normal but not bad. I know she has the voice of some helium-sucking school girl with skinned knees at times, but when you listen to the music and not just the part you detest, you might like it. Give it a whirl. If you don't like it sell it on eBay!
