I was impressed by the simplicity of this book. For a beginner, you have good picture and word descriptions of each move. Once you get comfortable with each move, you begin the program itself, which starts off with 30 second 'sets' of each move, usually in combinations of 4 moves, with 30 second breaks after each combination. Sounds easy....it's not. You definitely know you've had a full body workout. :)

Positives: Small and inexpesive (when compared to other kettlebell related products). Provides a useful starting workout if you have never used kettlebells before.Negatives: Pictures occasionally do not present adequate representation of the whole movement. Overall this book is worth the purchase. While there are better books/dvds out there this book is hard to beat for the small size and price if you are looking for starting information about kettlebells. 4 of 7 people found the following review helpful

I just recently incorporated kettlebell training into my routine, and this book was exactly what I needed to get started. I refer to this book, Crossfit(.com and click on exercises and demos) and Pavel's Enter The Kettlebell to maintain proper, safe form.
