It was a fantastic series. Growing up as a "boomer", in Toronto, many stories of women factory workers supporting the war effort were told. This series captures the "era" I grew up with, the decor, wallpaper, automobiles, the gap between the working class and the white collar workers. The lifestyle, sitting around the kitchen table after dinner was the main diversion from the working world and this story is very nostalgic.

I like the show (I bought it after watching it) but the 2nd disk was scratched. I live in the US and already paid $10+ in shipping and wasn't going to ship it back and then get a new one. THat was the only bad thing about it. I can't wait for the next season!
