I'm glad I bought this set. Previous seasons of Bonanza overlapped with public domain releases I purchased and although the quality of those was vastly inferior it stopped me from purchasing these full season high quality versions. Season 3 however are all new on DVD and there well worth the price. 34 one hour episodes all beautifully remastered with original music and plenty of extras. I still wish they didn't film many of the scenes with the painted back drops and fake looking props but hey no show is perfect. The beauty of this show was the four main characters and the writing which switched from serious to lighthearted. If you love westerns Bonanza should be somewhere on the top of your list.
