I appreciate that Andrew Allentuck wrote a book specifically for Canadians about their bond market, and that Wiley published it, given that the market for this book must be quite small. The material seems well covered. The book would benefit from a thorough editing to remove typos and repetition and to add a clarity and directness to some sections of text. Regardless of its flaws, this book does a great job of describing how the bond market works, how bonds can be used to lower risk in a portfolio, and how to go about buying/selling bonds.
