A simply OUTSTANDING season..., Aug 27 2008
This review is from: Bones: Season Three (DVD)
"Bones" is my favourite series, and that is a lot to say, because I watch quite a few :) If you are also a fan of this series, you know what I'm talking about, and it's highly likely you have already decided to buy this dvd because you know for a fact that season 3 was simply outstanding. I'm going to do exactly that, too. If you haven't heard about this tv show, stop losing time: run to the nearest videostore and rent season 1. But just in case you want to know a little more about this tv show before trusting my advice, below you will find a short description of the story. "Bones" stars Emily Deschanel as Dr. Temperance Brennan, a bright, beautiful and somewhat nerdy forensic anthropologist that works for the Jeffersonian and writes novels in her free time. Temperance and some of her coworkers somehow end up helping the FBI to solve old crimes. Their contact is an FBI agent called Seely Booth (David Boreanaz), and even though they don't see eye to eye at first, they end up making a strange but oddly charming team. Each episode follows Temperance (or "Bones", as Seely calls her) and her unlikely partner as they try to solve a crime, but some plots threads link several episodes. If you think you will like an excellent drama/comedy/action/suspense tv show, with an intelligent plot, good dialogue and more than a sprinkle of dark humor, give this series a try. I'm almost sure you will become a fan... Highly recommended... Belen Alcat

Amazing Series, Feb 4 2009
This review is from: Bones: Season Three (DVD)
I just have to say that David Boreanaz has been an amazing actor since he appeared in "Angel" by Joss Whedon. Anything that Joss touches turns to gold. Having said that, even though Joss has nothing to do with this series it is equally as amazing as anything he would have directed. The chemistry between the main characters (played by Emily Deschanel & Boreanaz) is entrancing. I can't wait to watch episode after episode to see how their relationship advances. The supporting characters are full of lives of their own, which is rare in a television series. Every character has a story and every actor plays his/her character in a way that actually evokes some emotion and empathy for the character. Season 3 was an emotional one indeed, making way for Season 4 (which is currently on television). The first few episodes of Season 4 are actually included in this box season, since the original Season 3 was cut short due to the writers' strike last year. Needless to say, if you haven't already seen this series you NEED to see it. And if you have seen it then you know that you need to own it. I strongly suggest ordering it right now, all 3 seasons. You won't regret adding such a brilliantly written series to your collection.

Very entertaining, Mar 27 2009
This review is from: Bones: Season Three (DVD)
I very much enjoyed this season of Bones. The mysteries are intriguing and the way the personal lives of all the characters intertwines into the story lines keeps the pace going from episode to episode. The sexual tension between Brennan and Booth keeps their relationship exciting and leaving you wanting more. I've read every Kathy Reichs books and although the characters in the t.v. show are different from the books, I find the t.v. show gives you the same amount of mystery, supsense and science that the books give you. I watched the whole season within a few days and turned around and bought season's 1 and 2. I highly recommend this season for all CSI, Cold Case and Law and Order fans.
