I have been rocking the boombot2 for almost a year now. This little speaker is big on sound and had preformed great for what I need. I mostly use it while riding my bike so that I don't have to use headphones. It is more than adequate as far as volume goes, at least for me. It is rugged too, not only surviving multiple drops (some off the bike while cruising at 12-16 mph)but also from my dog who thought she'd be nice and chew on it a bit to really test it out! All in all the boombot2 its still working although its scraped up and not pretty, it functions as it should. Maybe they made this thing a bit too well, I know they have a new speaker out the rex Boombotix REX Wireless Ultraportable Weatherproof Speaker for iPods Smartphones Tablets and Laptops (Savage Green) and I really want one, but most likely will not buy one until this one stops working which doesn't seem like it will be happening anytime soon. I also have used this at work, by the pool and at the beach to listen to music with a small group of people, it worked OK but it definitely won't power a party, nor is it meant to. It also works well camping, the only downside is battery life witch has suffered a bit as normal but as long as you keep it charged your golden! I rated this 4 out of 5 stars because the Bluetooth doesn't always sync up easily and I have had to pair it with my phone a few times which is an inconvenience. I also wish it came with a bike mount instead of having to shell out $15.00 separately for it, especially since it was a piece of crap and broke sending my boombot2 flying down the road. I would definitely recommend this speaker over most other I have heard/ seen, why? It looks cool, Sounds great, and preforms day in and day out!
